As we said before we don’t have a costume yet however we kind of figured these will accessorise most costumes, let’s face it most costumes feature gold some where.

Now we could of spend nuff corn on Mac eyeshadows, but with this trip costing £££££ we were happy to find this lovely pallet by Sleek at Superdrug and on visiting 3 Superdrug’s we finally got the last one at the Shepherds bush branch. These babies having been selling out like a Primark scrum and at £3.99 we can see why.





Mas boots

We found these Gold beauties from some kid section in a cheap shop, and yes we did go a size up (don’t want to lose no toenails, common carnival injury).

So you want to play MAS

Well because we only booked this trip a couple weeks ago we find ourselves with no costume (we know shock horror).

Tribe sell of months ago with most of the big bands such as Island people and harts following suit. We love our pretty mas and now we are hoping and praying for a Tribe costume. Island people are just not cutting it this year with those hard on the eye animal things.

Survival kit

Here is the ultimate Bnn survival kit which will prepare you for all eventualities.

Ibuprofen - drinking your moneys worth at all the inclusive fetes
First aid kit - mash up toes or walking wounded
Mosquito repellent - those bitches are not going to leave us with legs resembling a chocolate chip cookie
Tampons - in case we have an accident

We love flying Liat but we hate all the commess of not getting your suitcase. Our advice is to walk with some clothes with at least one fete outfit.

Well the countdown to Trini carnival is almost over, 3 days to go and we can't wait.

Here at Bnn HQ we love mas, fete and rum. We been wining in notting hill and all over the Caribbean, but its time for us to be carnival virgins and experience for the first time the Mecca that is Trinidad carnival.
