reSPECtable part 2

So reading my weekly instalment of celebrity trash I found out how celebs were ageing badly (all white I may add, thank goodness for melanin) and Jordan wasn’t going to have surgery again (yea right). Guess what the trend of the week was geek glasses . We knew some think was up when Urban Outfitters got them.
Let it be known we are the original 4 eye black frame glass wearing Black Nerds don’t get it confused.

Finally did it

After weeks of deciding and waiting I was starting to feel a bit naked. My Japanese ¾ sleeve was feeling a bit lonely. I have now got a forearm sleeve, it’s not quite finished yet another 2 hours should do it.

After a talk with Claudia
she came up with this beautiful piece.

Remembering Reggie Pedro Mud foot

Reggie Pedro introduce us to his work when we got a myspace friend request from him last year. We instantly love his use of illustrative figures combine with layered colour and text.

Early this year as we went trough our favourite’s websites and were deeply saddened to hear of his death, Reggie died on 8th November 2007.

On the 16th of March from 8-2am we will be remembering Reggie at Plastic people. Please make a donation at the door.

Flicking the channels - MALICK SIDIBE

Flicking the channels as you do we stumble on a BBC 4 documentary on the photographer Malick Sidibe.

To be honest we had not heard of him before. The images couldn’t be more distance from the usual Bob Geldof and crew poverty stricken images of Africa.
