The Art of Lemi Ghariokwu
Tuesday night saw the launch of Nigerian artist Lemi Ghariokwu's at the RichMix . The exhibition brought to life Lemi's work who is most famously known for the album art work of Fela Kuti. After listening to Lemi talk about his inspiration and his time with Fela, the launch night turned into one of the best free nights we've seen in London for a long time. The sounds of live Afrobeat with Nigerian legends Tony Allen and Dele Sosimi with Rich Medina on the decks had us all on our feet.
The next day we went to collect our print, had a more in depth tour of the exhibition, where we met Lemi and Rich Medina
Lemi signing his limited prints of Felasophy 1 of 7 which is currently at Bnn HQ

Extreme gardening session 2
Following from our first Extreme gardening session where we found a skull, this session saw us uncover 3 frogs and the foxes den.
Last Thursday we really assaulted the garden/jungle with transforming effects, armed with more nerds we managed to get up to halfway. With this progress we can just about see the back wall and can't wait for another dry day to get the rest done.
Can smell the barbecue already.

These ones are old maybe from the late 80s, I forget which family relative brought us back these
Currently our fave just a shame it can't hold much, loving the colours in this bag from Oxfam Wembley
