Pub Grub on the Way

There's nothing Black Nerds like more than good fish and chips washed down with a pint of cold Guinness at The Spurstowe Arms near Wilton way. The food is sometimes hit and miss and quite expensive but we love the laid back feel and the beer garden.

Violet Cakes on Wilton Way

We can't get enough of Wilton Way right now, and as its just a stones throw from Bnn HQ it has everything we need.

We have a pub which has good food and good people. Wilton's Cafe which is home to London Fields Radio, has an art space and makes a yummy chorizo sandwich. Then just when we thought it couldn't' get any better Violet Cakes who makes the most delicious cupcakes from Broadway Market has recently opened up on the Way.

We found these beautiful pictures taken by Tommy from This Is Naive blog

East London mugs by Sara not sarah

We were strolling down Broadway market and spotted these East London landmarks mugs designed in hackney by architect and designer Sara not Sarah. We were already familiar with People will always need plates Trellick Tower range, but never in our wildest imagination did we think our hometown Dalston was ready for such an accolade!LOL!

The designer popped in to see us and now we are a very proud owner of the Dalston Rio mug.

Now available at In Spitalfields shop on Lamb St E1

Other east London landmarks in the range are Bethnal Green Gas Towers, Hackney Empire and The Museum of Childhood

Cana of Galilee

Picked up this beautiful bag at my local charity shop maybe donated by a Irish Catholic from there trip to the Holy Land.

Water into Wine
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine.""Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."......

This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. (John 2:1-11)

Extreme Gardening

So during these sunny days it has come a time to tackle the jungle ok the garden but on first sight it may be confused as one.

Year after year we look out the kitchen window and think wouldn't it be nice to have a barbecue. Well this is the year we will tackle the bush, take back the garden from the current squatters (family of Foxes)and actually find out what is at the bottom the garden.

We think this may be a Cat skull probably the foxes killed it
