So last night saw the launch of Volume magazine new monthly night promoting new bands at Paradise Kensal Rise.





Volume covers all that is new in music,art, writing and fashion. We especially like the art deco fashion shoot featuring designs from RCA graduate Debbie Fletcher, Lisa Hjelm. Amazing art by TWIY

Bnn girls headed out to support one of our favourite band De Tropix.

The Night started slow but the first band got the night started. De Tropix then took to the intimate stage playing their tunes that we actually are starting to know a few of the words. As usual Cherry and Instinct had us whining in our seats with their mix of Tropical, Eletro and Ragga.

Following on from all things tropical. I came across this duo De Tropix, you may know the singer Cherry B as Mia’s hype girl with Producer & Vocalist Instinct. Hailing from St Vincent and the Grenadines the Island that brought you Jamsey P ‘Nookie tonight’ with a remix with Mia and Kevin Lyttle’s 'Turn me on'. So it’s no wonder the sound of De Tropic fuses dancehall reggae and rapso along with dance and afrobeat.
